Meet Nancy Hamm ICNCS- Creator of Gentle Ventures
Welcome to our newest endeavor! After researching various Doula organizations, we were surprised to discover the limited education required for Postpartum Doula certification. In response, we have developed a comprehensive course that not only embraces a holistic approach but also covers more newborn-related issues than any other postpartum course, including training on the role of the "Surrogate Doula."
Our course reflects our holistic focus, teaching you to use homeopathic remedies, herbal solutions, essential oils, and acupressure to support both clients and babies in maintaining comfort and promoting healing. Additionally, we offer extensive guidance on setting up your business for success.
As a small company that specializes in personalized service, Ms. Hamm personally mentors all her students in newborn care, offering FREE lifetime support and advocacy when needed. Julia Cavanaugh is also available to mentor students in the Doula portion of this program. When you reach out, no assistant will answer the phone; we provide a direct line for superior service.
Our program is approved for certification by the American Academy of Drugless Practitioners, and our holistic courses are accredited by the International Maternity and Parenting Institute. Certification is available for this Postpartum course.
Gentle Ventures Training, led by Ms. Hamm, has been in operation for over 16 years and offers the most comprehensive newborn care training program in the NCS community, delivering more information in our basic class than any other. We take pride in providing the latest scientific, up-to-date information, combined with common sense, extensive experience, careful review, and a touch of humor to make our classes engaging.
